Assistance in Locating AV Material the Library Should Own

If the Library does not own AV materials appropriate for use in your classes, and you would like some help in identifying good choices among the range of materials available, the Information Services Librarians will be happy to help. Just call the Information Services Desk, at 373-3839.

    Placing AV Materials on Reserve
AV materials owned by the Library--or any materials you yourself own and would like to make available to your students--may be placed on Reserve in the Library for use by your classes. When you are ready, you can place your request at the Service Desk in person, you can email Pamela Williams, Access Services Assistant II, at pdwilliams@parkland.edu, or you can place your request electronically using the Instructors' Reserve Request Form.

    Booking AV Materials in Advance

Booking in advance is a way to make sure the audiovisual items you need will be available when you need them. Just tell us the dates you need them, specify titles with call numbers, and we'll make sure they're on the Advance Booking Hold Shelf for you to pick up in plenty of time. When you are ready, you can place your request at the Service Desk in person, you can email the library directly with the details at library@parkland.edu, or you can place your request electronically using the Audiovisual Advance Booking Request Form.
