The Fine Print

Ask A Librarian is designed to help you get answers about research, the library, and library resources. The service is provided primarily to the students, faculty, and staff of Parkland College. You may be asked for your Parkland ID number and your email address in order for us to provide you with services and access.

Parties neither affiliated with Parkland nor residents of Community College District #505 should contact us only if your questions concerns Parkland's unique services and resources.  You may also want to see if your local/regional/school library offers reference services...we can help you identify your local library.

Ask A Librarian is intended to respond to short-answer, factual queries, with a limit of three such questions per person per day.  Questions which require intensive research or extensive answers cannot be answered through this service.

PLEASE NOTE that Ask A Librarian will not be monitored between 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, campus holidays, or during periods when classes are not in session. See the current Academic Calendar for more information.
