Microcomputer Support Specialist, Network System Administrator, Office Professional, Programming/Database Management, Digital Media: Web Design, or Digital Media: Web Development students have the option of transferring their A.A.S. degree toward the completion of a B.S. in Organizational and Professional Development (previously Career and Organizational Studies) at Eastern Illinois University
Microcomputer Support Specialist, Network System Administrator, and Programming/Database Management students have the option of transferring their A.A.S. degree toward the completion of a B.S. in Information Systems Technologies at Southern Illinois University.
The University of Illinois at Springfield offers a B.S. in Computer Science transfer option for Parkland CSIT students with an A.A.S. in Network System Administrator or Programming/Database Management.
Parkland Pathway is a dual-enrollment opportunity for students to gain guaranteed admission to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). CSIT students may want to consider either the Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree programs. Program participants will receive personalized mentoring and academic counseling and will have access to resources at both institutions – including libraries, labs, extracurricular activities, and recreation (some fees may apply). They’ll also have an opportunity to live in UIUC housing and enroll in one UIUC course per semester for their major.
