MEET THE SPEAKERS:
Julianna Sellett, MBA, MSN, RN, CPHQ, CENP - Vice President of Population Health, Transitional Care, and Diagnostic Services of Carle Foundation Hospital and Carle Physician Group. Julianna has worked in the health care arena since 1990.
She has worked in a variety of capacities ranging from secretary, healthcare technician, nurse, quality/accreditation professional, and various leadership roles. She has a diverse operational leadership background with experience in ambulatory clinics, home health, hospice, palliative care, durable medical equipment, therapy services, pharmacy services, pulmonary services, care/case management, social services, lab, and radiology. Julianna received her BSN in 1995, MBA in 1999, and MSN in 2008. She is in the final stages of doctoral studies, pursuing degrees in both nursing practice and health administration.
She is a regional director and board member for the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders (IONL) as well as a board member for her local Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare executives (ACHE), American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), and Leadership Illinois.
Donna Honold has over twenty years of experience in education and training. She is a Performance Consultant and was Honold & Associates for 16 years.
Charlie Honold has many years of creative experience. He owned Oh Frenzy! Advertising in Davenport, Iowa for 17 years producing tv and radio commercials, billboards, logos, print and much more.
In 2011, Charlie and Donna incorporated thier tow businessess into one known as Riffle, sharing office space in downtown Davenport.
Charlie and Donna could not be more different. But, after 22 years of marriage, they make it work, yet sometimes still wonder how.
Barbara Minsker, Ph.D., is President & Founder of Joyful U and a Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has won national awards for her 15-year leadership of major national and university initiatives, has launched two start-up organizations, and has completed more than 400 hours of leadership training at the Center for Authentic Leadership and CIC (Big 10) Academic Leadership Program, as well as 158 hours of mindfulness instructor training at University of Massachusetts Medical School and Duke University.
Meet Sister Julia Moriarty
Sister Julia Moriarty began her nursing training in 1938 and entered religious life the following year. Due to her passion for the nursing role, she was able to start Parkland College's nursing program and then went on to serve Presence Covenant Medical Center for 46 years. The Presence Covenant Medical Center Foundation started a scholarship fund for nursing students at Parkland College in honor of Sister Julia Moriarty, the conference proceeds will go to support the scholarship fund.
