Volunteer with the Champaign Park District

Next Saturday, July 3rd the Champaign Park District will hold their annual Ice Cream & Independence event.  Due to renovations at the Virginia Theatre, this year it is being held at the First Christian Church on the corner of Curtis and Staley Roads. Volunteers are needed to help hand out ice cream, sell tickets, and rip tickets, and will need to be there from 4:30-7:30 PM.

All volunteers will be able to get some free ice cream, compliments of Marble Slab and then starting at 7pm will be able to see the show for free!  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact David Genty, Special Events and Volunteer Coordinator, at 217.398.2550 or at david.genty@cparkdistrict.com.
